CPS Week10 Forces

Based on this week’s "Forces" theme, I decided to formulate the rules to combine the previous weekly projects appropriately.

Then I set the following rules:

1. Only one colour system

2. The abstract line of pure black can be added

3. The subject must be a door

The reason I chose this method to study:

I want to explore the use of colour as the combination of colour and colour includes a variety of different colour systems and a single colour system. What is tested in ordinary painting is the combination of different colours, but I have not tried a single colour combination. Moreover, the same colour system also can be used to simplify the picture and only focus on the collocation of colours.

About similar works:

My inspiration comes from Paul Klee(1897-1940). Like Kandinsky, another artist I like very much, he is very bold in his use and exploration of colours. Furthermore, this painting Characters in Yellow only uses simple symbols and abstract forms to communicate, which I like very much.
