CPS-Week 8: Time

In response to the theme of Time, I drew this series of pictures called "A Day in the Taoist Temple", showing the changes of the scene at different times through different light and shadow.

This series of paintings uses the difference of light and shadow to show the difference of different time. The sun rises from the east at 6 o'clock in the morning, the sun floats directly above at 12 o'clock in the afternoon, the sun shines from the west at 6 o'clock in the afternoon, and some lanterns act as light sources at midnight.

Artist Kyle Cassidy showed a similar design concept in her video. She segmented photos of the same place at different times and combined them to produce amazing works of art.
