Animated Narratives weekly folio - s3884123- Yangkai Huang

In this week's study, we have learned how to construct the story structure, using curves to describe the development of the story, and general structural elements, such as in "The Syd Field Paradigm",we need to set up the story base and some incident, which is the point one, and we have to concevie the confront in the point two,and then the climax will happen in resolution part.

In our group discussion, we chose the theme "The Sun Wants to Go on Vacation".We set up the basic premise of "all the planets are anthropomorphized" story, and then we came up with the first conflict, which is that all the planets don't care about the sun, don't really care about the sun, so the sun doesn't think it's important, so we came up with the idea of going on vacation.

This was followed by a second and third conflict, in which the Sun was accidentally captured by a black hole and all of its energy was sucked up.At the same time he saw that after he had gone, all the planets were frozen and desolate, for there was no sunlight. Finally, the story reaches its climax. The sun felt it was wrong to leave its post, so it squirted with all its strength, hurtling itself back to its original position, and all was calm again.

In this discussion, although I think the plot of the story is not very impressive (mostly due to the short time frame), it is possible to construct a complete story in this way, but we need a lot of effort to construct and repair our story and its logic. With this approach, we can be very efficient at the idea stage.
