Master Of Animation, Games & Interactivity

In this week's class, we discussed the narrative technique of flashback, which made me realize the unexpected effect brought by flashback, which greatly improved our plot structure.

In this narrative technique, the audience will know the ending of the story in advance, and let the audience have the desire to explore, which is conducive to seize the audience's interest. At the same time, the setting of the ending is also very important, it must be logical and unexpected, such a story is full and interesting.

I used this technique in a short animation about the new coronavirus that I made last year. At the beginning of the story, a child was infected with something, just like a child soiled his clothes when playing. The audience didn't know what it was, but with the development of the plot, we knew it was a virus, but it infected everyone long ago.

I think this method of presentation is a kind of chance to change our plot which is not really interesting, by changing the structure of the story, which can improve the audience expectation value. And i used this logic to create a short story (I upload in this net)and use simple words to describe it.
