' The artificial intelligence was fixed, but the memory of performing tasks with the owner disappeared '

In this era, artificial intelligence robots can already live indistinguishable from real humans, and some people even choose to move their memories to the robots to continue living before they die. The protagonist of the story used to be Arnold, the robot assistant of a private detective. He didn't know more information because he was forced to restore the factory settings.  He was curious that his own experience was not answered by the informed police. Inexplicable dreams often haunt him, related to previous cases. "This blond man often appears in my dreams. Is he my former master?" There is a vague shadow in the dream that has been guiding him. Arnold has more and more questions, and decides to continue to follow the dream in reality, looking for traces of the disappeared master. Next, Arnold conducted a search based on the location and related cases, and the truth of the year gradually became clear. It seems that the protagonist in the dream is the former self, and the erased figure is his owner.  Now he is greeted with more questions, why is his memory erased, and where is his master?

This story is inspired by Detroit Becomes Human and Blade Runner 2049. I like the theme of cyberpunk because it extends the possibilities of humans. But memory storage is indeed a serious problem faced by robots. Who can guarantee that their memories will not be changed? When artificial intelligence has its own consciousness, what kind of judgments will be made on the true and false in the world. When constructing this story, I focused on the narrative structure of the story and chose the flashback method. The development of the plot known to the protagonist Arnold is the same as the audience, and it is more conducive to bringing people into his situation. He was a blonde and cheerful robot, and he may have happy memories with the detective owner. Now he is very different from the original. He seems to be a somewhat boring man. I think this character design will attract the curiosity of the audience and want to know what happened before. The fragments in the dream are presented in the form of flashback at the beginning, and everyone will not understand, but the dream will gradually become clear afterwards.
