In week5, I started to work on the UV unwrapping. I usually do UV unwrapping in Maya or Unfold3D, so it took me a while to get familiar with working in Blender. I watched a few tutorials and then I tried some add-ons. I ended up using UV Packer and UV Texttools to handle the UV unwrapping. I tried to keep them organized so I could easily texture in Substance Painter, so it took longer than I expected. By the end of week5 I only finished the lantern's texture, which meant I was behind schedule. The entire folio 1should be done next week, so time is a bit tight. I guess I have to leave some props for the Folio2. However, I will use two days of week6 to make up the missing part. And And try to use the rest of the week to stick to the plan.
