In this week, I started to propose a narrative that could be specified in an animation with minimalist elements but that could tell a complex story. This is how I began to think of a world and characters represented by the smallest figures, who without being anthropomorphic or having some kind of unnatural movement, can express the complexity of a living being.
The character is a newborn. It is a metallic ball that has just appeared in this unknown world. He is not aware of his age, his identity, but he only wants to explore his surroundings.
In this case for the world I wanted to follow the aesthetics of infinite three-dimensional worlds without an apparent end, so my proposal includes different and diverse scenarios.
For the development of this place presented in the video, I used the monument developed in the past week, adding a path that the character must travel to reach it.
Having seen a little about the lights in a 3D environment, it was a habit for me to try to illuminate the scene with spotlights that replicate what would be a photographic studio and domes that illuminate the entire scene; so I started experimenting with objects that project light, which is simply selecting a mesh as the light source.
